Dr David Musoke Elected President of International Federation of Environmental Health

Dr David Musoke, a distinguished Senior Lecturer at Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH), has been elected President of the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) for the term 2026 to 2028. This announcement was made at the recent Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Perth, Australia.

Dr Musoke will officially take over the presidency in 2026, succeeding Dr Bruno Cvetkovic from Croatia, and will serve until 2028. His election marks a significant milestone, reflecting his exemplary contributions to the field of environmental health.

Dr Musoke is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Disease Control and Environmental Health at Makerere University School of Public Health (MakSPH) and a Senior Visiting Fellow at Nottingham Trent University's Centre for Public Health and Health Systems within the School of Social Sciences. He also serves as Co-Chair of the Community Health Workers Technical Working Group of Health Systems Global.

The global health community eagerly anticipates Dr Musoke's leadership and innovative approach in advancing environmental health initiatives worldwide.
