Bio

Ogunlade R. Davidson was Minister of Energy and Water Resources for two and a half years in the Sierra Leone Government. And Co-Chair of Steering Committee of the Global Network on Energy for Sustainable Development (GNESD). Internationally, he was Co-chair of Working Group 111 of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and later become Vic-Chair for the African Region of IPCC. He is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and was Dean of Post-Graduate Studies, Director of Research. Also, he was Head of Department of Mechanical and Maintenance Engineering, and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the same university. He was also the Chairman of the Board of the Sierra Leone Environmental Protection Agency (SLEPA), and was Director of the Board of National Power Authority and member of the Transitional Management Committee of the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Services.
