Dr. Nasr is a renowned professor of pharmaceutics with extensive experience of more than 20 years in higher education, spanning academic roles, pioneering research, and international collaborations. She holds the position of Professor of Pharmaceutics and Executive Manager of the International Relations and Academic cooperation at Ain Shams University's Faculty of Pharmacy. She published more than 150 international papers in the field of drug delivery and nanotechnology (h index 45), and is a peer reviewer in more than 160 international journals. Dr. Maha was awarded the African Kwame Nkrumah regional award in the field of Life Sciences 2019, the state excellence prize in the field of advanced technological sciences serving the medical sciences 2024, Obada international prize for distinguished researchers under 40 years 2018, the ACDIMA-Egypt award for the best applied research in 2018, COMSTECH award for the best research paper in biological sciences in 2017, the Egyptian Excellence accolade of the highest grade 2020, and the Khalifa award for distinguished university professor at the level of the Arab world in 2023.
