El-Fouly Mohamed Mostafa was elected as an AAS Fellow in 1993. Biography

Prof. El-Fouli obtained his PhD Degree in 1963 from the Institute for Plant nutrition, Technical University, Munich, Germany. His carrier began in Germany in 1965 as Researcher at the Agricultural Chemistry Research station Limburgerhof. Then he went back to his country and joined the NRC in 1966, becoming Research Professor in 1977. His last administrative positions were Head of Agricultural and Biological Research Division and member of the Board of Directors of the National Research Centre (NRC) of Cairo. He has contributed to research, development and technology transfer through the organization of training courses and workshops in Arab countries. He has produced and published over than 200 articles in the field of plant production, macronutrients, foliar fertilizers, plant nutrition and fertilizers and has several national and international awards and recognitions.
