Daoud Abdelaziz

Daoud Abdelaziz was elected as an AAS Fellow in 2005. As a fellow, Daoud Abdelaziz contributes to the development of the Academy's strategic direction through participation in AAS activities and governance structures. This gears the Academy's vision of transforming African lives through science.

Biography

Prof. Daoud got his D.E.A in 1971, “Doctorat 3eme Cycle” in 1972 and PhD on Solid State Chemistry in 1976 from the University of Dijon.  He has served as Higher Technician IAEA in Tunisia, Associate Assistant, Lecturer at Dijon, Associate Professor and Professor at the Faculty of Science of Sfax Tunisia; Director of the national Engineering School of Sfax; Regional Delegate for Scientific Research and Technology in Tunisia. Currently he is a retired Professor Emeritus but remains Correspondent of the Foundation of Technopole of Sofia – Antipolis of Nice in France and consultant in the Technology Park.
