As a fellow, Adedayo Oluwaseun Ademiluyi contributes to the development of the Academy's strategic direction through participation in AAS activities and governance structures. This gears the Academy's vision of transforming African lives through science.
Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs and Research in two South African Universities for ten years, acted as Vice Chancellor in both Universities.Has served as Head of Departments, Director, Deputy Dean, Dean, Acting Executive Dean.Was a Board member of the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions, National Health Laboratory Service, and the World Health Organization (WHO) Expert Committee on Campylobacteriosis, among others. He holds a PhD degree in Medical Microbiology, taught in several universities, and was visiting Professor to some
universities.Supervised several postgraduate students, presented scientific papers at local and international conferences, published extensively in journals.He has an uninterrupted record of publications for the past 35 years.He is a reviewer and Editorial Board Member of Journals.Served as Principal Investigator of several research projects funded by National and International Agencies. Was the Chairperson of the Council on Higher Education (CHE) panel for the Institutional Audits, University of Mpumalanga and Member of the Committee for the establishment of two new universities in South Africa.
He was invited to present the 2016 International Guest Lecture, Minnesota State University, Minnesota, USA He is a rated researcher and a member of the Academy of Science of South Africa
