Abdoulaye Ndao was elected as an AAS Fellow in 2025. As a fellow, Abdoulaye Ndao contributes to the development of the Academy's strategic direction through participation in AAS activities and governance structures. This gears the Academy's vision of transforming African lives through science.
Professor Abdoulaye Ndao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, San Diego. Abdoulaye Ndao was assistant professor at Boston University from 2020 to 2023. He was previously a postdoctoral researcher at UC San Diego and UC Berkeley. He received his Master and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Franche Comte (France).
